DIGITAL PARCELS
The County of Peterborough is pleased to announce the release of digital property parcels.
Users can access the GIS site from the County’s home page (www.county.peterborough.on.ca) by clicking on the Maps link in the blue toolbar and following the Public GIS link in the left panel.
The parcels are comprised of two layers, showing the parcel outline for each property plus the civic address, also a tool tip will be display whenever the mouse hovers over each parcel.
The search tool on the right pane of the viewer will allow you to narrow your search to a specific address range, once you are there the civic address will be visible, making it possible to identify the parcel that is being searched for.
Originally developed to meet the needs of the County’s internal users, now the new added parcel layer will be generating interest from the general public.
