Many of the services provided by the County of Peterborough are also made available to businesses if the amount of material generated is not more than a typical household.

The recycling limits for businesses are 4 blue boxes per week and 5 bundles of cardboard no larger than 30" x 30" x 8" each month. Businesses with larger quantities of recyclables need to contact a private contractor to make arrangements for collection.

Business limits at our HHW facilities are 25 Gallon per calendar year with a maximum container size of 5 gallons. We will not accept drums.  Businesses with larger volumes must contact a private contractor for proper disposal.
